Frequently asked questions
General
- 01
No — they are completely different. Modular homes are built to the same building codes as site-built homes, using the same materials, but inside a controlled factory environment. They sit on a permanent engineered foundation and are classified as real property, not manufactured housing. Mobile homes follow a different code and are not comparable in structure, materials, or long-term value.

Pricing depends on:
Coastal wind zone requirements
Foundation height and flood zone
Transportation and crane costs
Site prep and utility work
Customizations and finishes
Your final price includes both the factory-built modules and the on-site construction.

Our homes are engineered to meet or exceed Florida’s coastal wind codes, including high-velocity hurricane zones. These are built to withstand 180+ mph wind speeds. Because modules must withstand transportation and crane lifting, they are typically built with stronger framing and fastening systems than many traditional homes.
